New EU packaging rules (PPWR) apply since 12 August 2026.

Document every pack for the new EU packaging rules.

Packaging sold in the EU now needs a signed declaration that it meets the rules, with evidence behind it. Carbonorm collects that evidence from your suppliers, shows what is missing for each pack, and prepares the declaration for you.

Compliance work your spreadsheet was never built for.

▦

Your evidence is scattered.

Recycling data sits in one spreadsheet, supplier certificates in email, test reports in a shared drive. Nobody can show the full picture for a single product.

✉

Suppliers are slow to answer.

You need evidence from every supplier, in a format you can use. Chasing it by email takes weeks and still leaves gaps.

⏱

The rules are still moving.

The EU is still publishing the detailed rules. A pack that passed last quarter may need a fresh check this quarter.

From scattered files to a signed declaration, in four steps.

CARBONORM® WORKFLOW · STAGE 01

Connect SAP or your ERP.

Our ERP team connects Carbonorm to SAP or the system you already use, during onboarding. A scheduled feed keeps your products and packaging current, so nobody re-uploads a file. Not ready for that yet? Start with a simple spreadsheet template.

CARBONORM® WORKFLOW · STAGE 02

We collect evidence from your suppliers.

Each supplier gets a link. They upload their documents in one click, with no account to create. You see who has answered and what is still missing.

CARBONORM® WORKFLOW · STAGE 03

We show what is missing, pack by pack.

Each gap is linked to the rule that asks for it, in plain words and in the regulation's own text. You know what to request, and from whom.

CARBONORM® WORKFLOW · STAGE 04

You get the declaration, ready to share.

Signed, stored and ready to send when an inspector or a customer asks. Every figure in it traces back to the supplier document behind it. We call that audit-grade.

The law will change again. You won't start from zero.

The EU is still adding detail to the packaging rules. When it does, we update our rule set and re-check your files against it. You see which products are affected, why, and what new evidence they need.

CarbonormAI · Agentic compliance

An agent that does not guess.

The grade comes from a deterministic engine derived from the regulation itself, not from a language model. The agent's only job is to call that engine correctly, explain the result, and back every finding with an article reference.

What teams ask first.

Does PPWR apply to my company?+

If you make, fill, import or sell packaged products in the EU, it very likely does. The exact duties depend on your role. The free self-assessment tells you which ones apply.

What is a Declaration of Conformity, in plain words?+

A signed document stating that your packaging meets the EU rules. Behind it sits a file of evidence: supplier documents, test results and calculations. You keep both and show them when an authority asks.

Do you integrate with SAP?+

Yes. Our ERP team connects Carbonorm to SAP or your other ERP during onboarding, with a scheduled feed so your portfolio stays current. For your IT team there is a REST API and webhooks. If you want to start before the connection is in place, a spreadsheet template works too.

How long does it take to get started?+

You can start right away with the spreadsheet template. An ERP connection takes longer: we scope it with your IT team during onboarding. Collecting supplier evidence depends on your suppliers. We show you what is still missing.

Where is our data stored?+

In the EU only: Frankfurt, with a backup in Stockholm. No copy leaves the EU. We sign a data processing agreement before you share anything.

Do you cover CBAM too?+

Not yet. CBAM, the EU's carbon border rules, comes in Wave 2 (November 2026). The supplier data you collect for packaging feeds it directly.
